The show focuses on the lives of women who are married to well-known basketball players and follows their adventures. Not everyone, on the other hand, was pleased with their appearance on the show. The entire show, according to former cast member Matt Barnes, is scripted and staged to an extreme degree. Several women, including Tanya Young, have come forward to support the claims, claiming that the producers staged the drama by pitting the women against one another.

It appears that the show has a strong scripted element to it. Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag claim that they were asked to shoot the same scene a total of fifteen times for the movie. He became enraged when she claimed she was “pregnant,” which he took as a sign of her being pregnant. Lauren’s co-best worker’s friend was cast in the show, according to its producers, who have since admitted to casting several other characters.
