It’s only natural that a reality show based on the Bella Twins would be fake, given how fake WWE was. John Cena and Daniel Bryan, Nikki and Brie’s partners, were featured in the series. The producers clearly created many of the show’s scenarios, and much of the drama between Nikki and John Cena was staged for the cameras.

WAGS, which follows the lives and dramas of sports stars’ wives, quickly became one of the most popular shows from E!. To keep the show interesting for viewers, the producers created drama between the women, and the show was heavily reliant on fake scenarios. The women’s conversations and rivalry were all made up, even though the marriage breakdowns were real. Women who weren’t dating athletes were also brought on to add some spice to the mix.
