Oatmeal and Yogurt Scrub

Did you know that oatmeal is very healthy for your skin and hair? Oatmeal helps to calm irritated or itchy skin and is also a great way to enhance moisture in your skin and reduce inflammation and acne. Just like you can eat oatmeal for breakfast, you can also use it as a face exfoliation. All you need is 2 tsp. of ground rolled oats, 1 tbsp. of organic plain Greek yogurt and 1 tbsp. of coconut oil. Mix all the ingredients together and massage it with circular motions onto your skin. Let it on for a few minutes and wash it off with warm water. Your skin will not only glow but also will feel softer and healthier.

Apple and honey scrub

Apple with honey is not only a delicious snack, but can also help you to get healthy and happy skin. With the DIY apple and honey skin exfoliant, you will not only safe a lot of money, but you can also be sure that there are only healthy and natural ingredients in the exfoliant that you put on your skin. The mixture between honey and Apple is a real wonder when it comes to skincare. Honey, is famous for its skin calming and restoring properties. It has antibacterial and antiseptic abilities and is good for acne prone and oily skin as well. It also helps to keep the skin moisturized, without making it oily. Apple on the other hand, improves your skin complexion, works as a natural toner and even helps to protect you from the UV Rays. All you need for the DIY scrub is one peeled and ripped apple, 1/2 tbsp of organic honey and 1/2 of jojoba oil. Smash the apple and heat the honey for a few seconds in the microwave. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and put the mixture on your skin for about 5 minutes. Rinse well with warm water and apply moisturizer for a lasting effect.

Banana Oatmeal Scrub

Just like many fruits, also Banana is a great fruit for your skin. It contains a lot of healthy and important vitamins, such as Vitamin A, Vitamin C and potassium. Banana also helps the skin to keep moisturized, and restores the skin’s moisture to keep it healthy and smooth. It prevents your skin to dry out and crack. All you need for the Banana & Oatmeal scrub are 1 banana, 2 tbsp finely ground oatmeal and 1 tbsp Greek yogurt. First start by smashing the banana until it is smooth but still of good consistency. Take a food processor and grind the oats. Mix the ingredients together and massage the mixture in circle motions onto your face. Leave the mixture on for about a minute and then rinse it of thoroughly with water.
